Last night as I was driving to choir rehearsal, a standard utility van passed by in front of me with the following logo:
PEED Plumbing, Inc.
YOU NEED PEED for your plumbing repairs!
I had to presume that Peed is a family name; this morning, a Google search proved my theory correct...
...there are so many things I could say about this. But y'know, I think I'm just gonna let this one stand all by itself. It deserves it.

That's almost beautiful enough to cry........
I actually grew up (in good ol' Blacksburg) with a girl named Ashley Peed. She was in the grade below me, anyway. I always felt it was a very unfortunate name for a very nice girl. I just thought it was interesting that her last name was a verb. Not the kind of statement I'd want to make, anyway. At least, not in public. Not to the whole world.
Andrea, I think you need to email them right away and suggest a change of slogan. :)
I think the prize, though, goes to my roommate's childhood friend, Amanda (first name changed for privacy) Skanky. Oh yes. Hands down, dude. Could you imagine if she served a mission..."Hi, I'm Sister Skanky, and I represent The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints"...
