The commericals are warm and fuzzy encouraging time spent with family and friends, and yet this is the one time of year that I don't have time to see any of them!
Sunday night I attempted to sing with a small acapella group at the visitor's center of the Washington DC LDS temple. Halfway through our first 'rotation' the blood sugar plummeted, the body temperature soared, and I broke out in a cold sweat thinking I was going to die. Fortunately (or unfortunately), nobody noticed, so hey, save that sweat for another day.
Last night was our attempt to roommate bond through glorious visions of Christmas trees, wreaths, and happy caroling. Within minutes of taking the tree out of the box we were stymied by the obstinate, implacable TREE STAND that would not assemble. Oh, the joys of the Christmas season...
