Black or peeeento beans?

We had an all-morning meeting today (once again sparking my uncontrollable Meeting Narcolepsy); to get there, we took the "secret", "underground" tunnel connecting FOB (Federal Office Building) 3 and 4. It is a dark, stuffy passageway about six feet tall and three people wide. One side is lined with whitewashed cement blocks, the other complete open heating pipes and grates. To walk in the tunnel is to risk severe burnage.

As we entered said tunnel, the revving of an industrial ... what would you call it? ... go-cart? Golf cart? Miscellaneous Office Supply Carte? deafened my ears, and to my horror, proceeded to follow us into the labyrinth. (what a weird spelling) Seeing as obviously there was only one way to go, and that was straight through the 100 yards to the other side, we were then forced to speed up our pace according to the tinny rubber-against-rubber rumblings of the engine, as there was no space for him to pass us, and the heating pipes loomed on our left; dark, hot, foreboding, and orange. The roars brought me wistfully back to Provo days, where persuals of the aisles of Food-4-Less were accompanied by the beepings of the forklifts threatening to impale their customers. Guess we never did manage to hijack one and wreak our havoc, did we, Kayc? Shooties.

That train of thought finally came to a loving halt on The Best Place to Eat Ever, Cafe Rio, lovingly nestled a mere fifteen feet away from Food-4-Less and an entire world apart, victually speaking. Tears glimmer in my eyes as I reflect upon its wonder and glory... O come back to me, my love! With thine handthrown tortillas, thine token White Man with Bleached Hair in Hairnet, thine offers of bean choice, but most of all, that one time thou offered me extra ceeeelantro on my salad and piled it on. It was a beautiful day...

Were you with me the time they had the tragic forklift accident at Food-4-Less? Is that why the Provo branch shut down? Cafe Rio---stop. I don't need to be more homesick at this point, with my paper chain countdown until when I go back to the States...
